Magda is a passionate advocate of both informal and formal peer support for mental wellness. Formal peer support training equips those with lived experience of a mental health struggle and recovery with specific tools and skills to come alongside peers.
Peer supporters:
Help peers to deal with the impact of struggle,
Help peers to develop achievable, realistic goals to work towards, and
Offer encouragement and accountability.
